Shhh...

This is my library. If I ever find something interesting and worth to be published there, I'll do that

Honorable mentions

These are links with my thoughts
  • june made pretty cool irc software that i use
  • openbsd is quite an interesting system. Society thinks it's about security. In my opinion, openbsd is more about simplicity. Of course, the former is an important thing, and a good way to achieve it is through the latter. So far this is the most usable such system I've ever seen, and it's my main one
  • cat-v.org is a highly opinionated site containing some amount of rants. Unfortunately, it's original author has passed away many years ago, so some thoughts can be outdated.

Also the site has a lot of documentation on unices and plan9

  • plan 9 foundation site is a good one, I use it to reference plan 9 articles. In fact I recommend you reading those articles too, they're very interesting

By the way, plan 9 as a unix rewrite is a rather clean system. After using it for some time I understood that gui and mouse are absolutely not that bad. Actually, I switched to acme from vi, and I feel rather good there. In general, looking at another viewpoint is an interesting and I'd even say healthy thing

  • killeik's site (that I, by the way, found in a rather interesting place) has made me to rethink my website. It links some good sites, and I mostly align with their ideas.
  • this is a thread telling why there'll be no ai slop in openbsd. There're licensing issues with generated code. Llms can be viewed as formatters (much more fancy ones but still), and it's unknown where a snippet written by an llm is from and what license it has
